Coolest/Oddest Musical Experience:  When I was in 5th grade, I wanted to play tuba. My mom wouldn't let me since it wouldn't have fit in our car... so I got to play trumpet instead!
If you could create music with another musician (local, famous, dead/alive), who would it be and why?  I think it'd be fun to jam with Stevie Ray Vaughan (on guitar). I think he put a lot of soul into his music, and it'd be great to learn some blues licks from him
What is the one thing that instantly makes your day better?
Getting the opportunity to learn something or teach something to someone
What is your favorite random fact (NOT something about you)?
In the Czech Republic, traditionally for Christmas families will go to street markets and purchase a carp. They then let the fish live in their bathtub for a few days to let children play with it. Afterwards, they eat it for their holiday meal
Why do you think it's important to teach the younger generation music?
For me, I think it's the emotions that music lets you express. Music can be a great escape for a lot of students. It's some people's way of exhibiting parts of themselves that they can't put into words
What is the most unexpected thing you have learned while studying music?
I've learned that everyone is capable of becoming a musician; the thing that stops people from becoming a great musician is a lack of effort
