Coolest/Oddest Musical Experience:  In 8th grade, I went down from my seminar class to the band room to practice my material. After I was done with my rep, I started playing some pop songs that I knew off the top of my head. It also happened to be the period when the 6th grade brass had rehearsal. The kids heard me play and were really impressed. So much so that they begged Mrs. Kraus (Director) to bring me out to play for them. After I played for them, they asked me a couple questions about 8th grade band. Then, after the period was over, a group of trumpet players came up and congratulated me and told me that they want to be able to play just like me someday.
